Elmat Drum Heaters
Etched-foil silicone heating elements
 
Flat flexible heaters, fit for a number of applications where this feature is a key factor. They can be manufactured in almost any size and shape. Elmat drum heaters can be fixed with self-adhesive tape, by clamping or lacing, using springs or snap fasteners. Following insulation materials can be used: rubber, silicon, mylar, kapton, teflon, nomex, mica, neoprene, fiberglass. Adjustable thermostats can be installed on the heater, silicone-protected.

Temperature: up to 200 °C in continuous working
Total minimum thickness: 0.8 mm
Can be produced with a biadhesive for application on various surfaces such as glass, steel, plastic...
Possible forming/curing on curved surfaces
A wide range of accessories is available for the temperature control: fixed or adjustable thermostats, thermofuses, thermocouples and various other types of sensors
Pockets for probes or housings for thermostat bulbs can be applied according to customer's specifications
Maximum dimensions with standard production equipment: 2350 x 600 mm (can be incremented with multiple-heater connections)
VDE approval for the major part of the production range
Tests according to EN 60335-1 and EN 50106 standards
